Easier shortcuts

• Capture faster with new shortcuts that are easy to press: ⇧⌘1 opens All-in-One and ⇧⌘2 captures an area.
• Use the familiar macOS screenshot keys (⇧⌘3, ⇧⌘4, ⇧⌘5) for SimplyShot instead. A short guide shows you how to switch them over.

Copy Text

• Copy the contents of QR codes and barcodes, not just text.
• Scanned a QR code with a link? Open it in one click.

Editing

• Choose a font for text, sticky notes and reactions: Sans-serif, Rounded, Serif or Mono.
• Text stays exactly where you put it while you type, and outlined text shows its outline as you edit.

Video editor

• Long pans now start as soon as your cursor moves, so the camera keeps up instead of trailing behind.

Requires macOS 14.6 Sonoma or later.
